"Let me tell you one of the most delicious fish and chip shop I've eaten at, the onion ring was on point the batter was delicious and salted perfectly. Staff very friendly with a smile on their face, the vibe is a old school fish and chip shop with booths to sit in. Recommend to anyone who's a fish n chip lover everything is YUMMY!!"

"Absolutely blown away. I ordered the burger with the lot and it was unreal — juicy, fresh, stacked perfectly, and full of flavour. You can tell everything’s made properly, not rushed. Portion size was great and it hit the spot big time. If you’re after top-quality fish and chips (or an elite burger), this place is a must. I’ll definitely be back."

"Been away for years and was thrilled that The Golden Horseshoe has not changed at all. Great traditional fish and chips, decent prices, very friendly and professional service and the best bit, the original 1980s deco! We had the family pack with flake, dim sims, potato cakes, calamari rings and chips. Of course the obligatory chicken salt included!!"
